Idiom Talent Agency

I sent numerous requests for representation by agents via the Mandy Network. I was contacted by Idiom Talent Agency and was told they would like to represent me. They said they liked my materials I sent. I was thrilled but I had a few questions for them. They have never replied to my calls or e-mails. Has anyone had the same situation with Idiom. There is some internet reference to they being a scam. Please comment if you have any info.

I switched from them to Mandy. I had great audition opportunities but never once heard back from anyone. I read a review from someone who is a working VO talent. They stated they were with that agency for a year and never once booked a job.

Hi there, Idiom contacted me about 2 years ago to represent me. Shortly after I was signed, their website became inoperable, and none of my emails or phone calls were ever returned when I reached out to ask why, as their website was how I was to obtain jobs. Then they created a site that I had to pay for, about $15/month and forced me to use that since I was "under contract" with them. I tried to get out of my contract multiple times as they were deceiving and did not hold up their end of the bargain one bit. They finally released me after I reported them to the BBB. They stopped charging me the $15/month, but refused to refund the money I'd already paid. Idiom is an absolute scam, beware.
