Just a question about the 1st Talent agency

I just have a question as I’ve been thinking about applying my daughter to 1st Talent but I have no idea whether it would be worth it or not. I am just wondering whether you need to pay to use it (if you get in after the audition). If it’s a flat fee, monthly or yearly I’m not willing to pay but if it’s a situation where they get, say, 20% of what you earn on each job then I am willing to pay.

Basically my question is, do you have to pay to use them and are they worth it?
Thanks in advance!

Did you click on 'Kids'? Looks at the FAQs there. There are upfront and yearly fees, and looks like you are 'encouraged' to get pro headshots from them. AND... there commission is 25% - that seems high!

Never pay upfront fees to an agency. Big red flag!

Thanks everyone for the help! I don’t think I’ll be considering them anymore although my daughter is devastated! She just really wants to find a good agency that doesn’t require you to live in London. Anyway, thanks so much for the responses!
