I can never actually remember if you have to have premium membership in order to read/post to the forum - I thought that was the case, and was one of the reasons I upgraded in the first place!

But I agree - it's a pretty good forum, as these things go. Not just good, generally useful advice, but I think it's a pretty vibrant discussion community as well.

As far as paying for all sites like this goes, I think it's always the case that when you have commitments to something else for several months, you wish you weren't shelling out money to them, and when you don't, you regret not having the info at your disposal.

But it's true - the type of paying stuff that gets offered here is generally of a certain type (TIE, Corporate etc.) that may not be what everyone's looking for.

And I think I'm losing the thread...

You don't need to defend it Mark, I'd feel the same way about it regardless!I just personally feel that the whole thing was a bit strange and unorthadox, not that there's anything wrong with that, but it just didn't sit well with me!

I think it has gone down hill in terms of castings.. t her are always a lot of courses and debates but very little in the way of jobs. i would say froman actors point of view it is not worth th £30 a year. Be a free member yes you get the bulletins three days later but to be honest with the type of jobs that are posted it won't really make that much of a difference.
