Why would anyone turn up at such a large, publicly advertised open audition so late!
Me & my sister arrived just after 7.45, and we were number 98 & 99 - the people at the front got there at 6am!
We were out by 1.30ish - so much fun singing on theatre royal stage and creeping round The Producers set, part apart from that a waste of time - it was all for publicity - & to find guys! (as usual)
Oh well, lesson learnt....

I did the audition, I arrived at half 8 and didn't get seen for 4 and a half hours.
Clearly by that point it dawned on them they couldn't see everyone on stage.
When it was my turn the auditions were being held in I think 2 rooms. I went in the room, sung 6 bars and was lead out again, I didn't even get chance to take my bag off my shouler.
I was quite upset it was so badly organised, I mean they put that advert in a few papers not only the stage so they must have known there'd be a big turn out.
I also think it was slightly to do with the publicity as so many press were there.
My friend got through to the call backs. (Which were moved to Weds) so fingers crossed for him.
