Help for a placement or shadowing position? Single Parent and student
Hello all,
I am currently a mature student studying technical and production management at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
I was wondering if anyone had any leads on how to apply for a bit of work experience or shadowing? I am hoping to try some film and TV placements, as I have quite a bit of Theatre and Events experience. I would be very thankful for any help you may be able to give me.

Hi Stef,
I would suggest reaching out to people in the industry whose roles you're looking to get into and letting them know that you're looking for work experience. The same goes for production companies, if that's a path you want to take. They are usually pretty obliging and will look to get you on some shoots.
Don't be afraid to pester people and to show that you're keen!

I'm outside London and would have to work remotely and cant afford to pay myself or others yet but I have a start up film company and am drowning in work - hoping to do a couple of low budget films as Proof of Concept for the 3 features and HETV series on my plate.
