Musical Theatre-which school????

Ok im really confused, Musical theatre has always been my life but I met some actors the other day who haddone west end for years and they absolutely hated it ! THATS REASURRING!so im all confused now i want to do a musical theatre post grad but where are the best schools?i konw them all but i want one thats gonna do west end stuff not just the new alternative musical stuff.Hoep that makes some sense!!!

i have a friend at mountview now doing the 3 year course and i met the musical director. I went to see the showcase and the standard was unbelieveably high, they had the most agents that any drama school has ever had for a showcase, and everyone got more than one call from agents. i was considering mountview myself for a postgrad, i've looked into others and it really seems to be one of the best.

yeah mountview is well known but to be honest, their reputation isn't great, it used to be a very good school but Ive been really put of by the negative feedback its got from casting directors and agents x
