real name or stage name?

I've been wondering if I should change my name...
Does my real name suit me? Will I get more work if I change it? Should I change it to one that suits the characters I play? Will it help with how people perceive me? Is it too late? Should I still do it? Is there a certain beat to names that work best?
(Having a fairly unusual name, people always forget it and call me Lindsey, I think this continuing trauma is what has brought this on, that I am/my name is forgettable!)
For personal reasons I've been thinking about first name Isobel and possibly Hunter Grey or Gilroy Grey or Hunter Gilroy...
What/who do I look like?!

I changed my name when I was 18 because my real one was rather embarrassing, but i never felt like myself under the name of Dominique so now I've gone back to being Moonie!
