Your best bet is to gather a few like minded's and do your own production. It costs, but it's worth it, for experience and exposure. Maybe try the Scratch Night at the BAC first and see how you go, then perhaps a 3 night run somewhere. Don't forget that you'll need to cover the cost of the space, rights to whatever piece you're doing (unless you're doing your own writing or improv), advertising etc. You may only just break even on the box office (if you're lucky!)and it's hard work but an invaluable experience. Invite agents and casting directors galore and hope for the best. Good luck and let us know if you do anything!

Hi

Good advice from Lucy but as she says it takes money and you rarely make it back. Have you subscribed to PCR? It's pricey but has loads of jobs in and a special section for fringe stuff. It's cheapest if you pay by direct debit as this works out as £19 per month.

Hope this helps

Hi - good luck with this. PCR is a good place to look but make sure any production will be in a venue that people will come to. If it is advertised as "profit share" be prepared to receive no money as there is very rarely any profit - also actors sometimes drop out at short notice if they have a paid job come up. Pentameters, The White Bear, Hens and Chickens are well known in the London Fringe. Also - if you do something make sure it will be reviewed by The London Fringe. You can go on their website and see past reviews and this will also give you an idea where the venues are. Good luck
