Yes, many are still testing. I would assume in a lot of cases it's connected to their insurance cover.

Also, there are still a lot of Covid cases going round. I've a couple of friends who have had jobs postponed because a member of the cast contracted it. Better, I think, to be safe.

Anyone else having trouble with all their media files saying currently converting?
So I can’t attach it to job applications.
It’s been over a week. I’ve emailed Mandy but they not got back to me.

I think it just says that. Press send anyway and it goes through. I’ve done that and a bit later, I get an email to say it’s live. Try it and see and let us know.

Hi Francesca, I had the same problem and I emailed Mandy and they have sorted it out. But it was a pain to not be able to attach files.

Hey,
I also had the message files converting but I carried on attaching and now my reels have all dissapeard and are no longer there. Anyone else had this issue??

Yup! They've all dissapeared! Mandy have been in contact and are trying to get them all reinstated. They must of gone in the latest update they've done. I am really hoping they all come back as I can't really apply for most jobs without them!

Oh good! I did speak to a really helpful person who explained everythingh that's going on and had Mandy sent a comprehensive email at the start laying out what was happeneing they may not of had so many disgruntled actors! They are basicall transferring a bespoke database built in the 90's to an up to date one and this is obviosuly prooving very tricky working with old software and new. It's a huge undertaking and there is also no deadline in sight for this to be completed! I am hoping they can retrieve my files!

They’ve been doing this for absolute ages - since it was taken over by Backstage. In any other business, they would have gone bust. .

Thanks Claire, I wondered what was happening as all my reels have been rearranged, and with Mandy's clunky system of only being able to move one at a time it has been a royal pain in the arse to put them back in the right order.
