Hey Girl 3 Actor,
(damn it! never get that name right)

Had you written this a month ago I would win hands down. But since then I have invented a feathered alter-ego to prevent normal-life insanity setting in everyday. Thankfully, I'm now gleefully unhinged.

I was URGENTLY called by a temp agency this morning - got me out of bed, damn them - and asked if I can work and do some audio typing which I have never done before. So I rushed to the place and now at... 16:28 I still haven't done a thing. Not one thing. I'm glad I lied about being able to audio type, but the flamin pooter wont let me onto google mail which is my main acting email add. Lordy. So bored.

Did find a bible though and have read Genesis which did you know was named, I think, due to it's 'generations' of people that are created within the chapter. Have thought about writing a play about the bible and began a script but couldn't carry on as my keyboard is too loud and 'tappy' and they may think I am taking advantage. Of what I've no idea, but should my bible script become a rip roaring success they may sue me.

I know just how boring it can get working in an office. I did it for about five years until I was sacked cause I got the flu one Christmas trying to balance a day-job, studying for an exam and doing rehearsals for a play 5nights a week. Something had to give and it was the day job. Fortunately I had been saving money for ages so I havent gone back to working in an office since. It has the been the best thing to happen as I have been able to focus on my career and prove to myself what I can do.

That is a job in itself.

Now you can amuse youself by working out how much you earned whilst smoking/being in the toilet etc.

Good game.

Mark.

its so frusttrating when you start a new temp job - you think a bit extra cash will be nice. You even find your 'new' colleagues fairly agreeable and you make plans to hang out with your badly neglected friends when....you get to lunch, check your mobile, and theres a call from your agent for a casting which you've just missed because you're not meant to have your phone on during work!!!!!

Fascinating conversation. I've been temping with the same company now on and off for about a year and a half and although it can get veeeeerrrrrrrryyyy boring I'm so glad I've managed to keep it as it allows me loads of flexibility (I work for the Council so there's never enough work to do!) and regular pay. Was able to do so many acting jobs last year (most unpaid) because of this. Also I can keep my internet open all day, apply for jobs and keep in contact with all you lovely people. Oh yeah, and I can listen to my cd's all day on headphones. Have got Pink Floyd on right now..."Shine on you Crazy Diamonds!!!"

It's actually in Old Street. I work for the Parking Services for Islington Council. Got the job through Keystone Emplyment Agency. They've always been good to me and my partner. Oh, am listening to Sergeant Pepper now..."It was 20 years ago today...!!!"
