I am a little frustrated with this 'offer' as although been trying for over a year to put name down/ select a date and they never seem to be available??
Im a premium member have been for over a 2 years but would still like to save some money where possible and work in their office for 3 days. No preference is given to premium members or free members alike.
Have any other actors out there managed to do actually do this?
Any tips as to when/ how to put name down??
am I alone on this?

I did it very recently actually, 1st week in march, it is real and is a nice relaxed 3 days helping out and you get to meet the faces behind the website (lovely bunch of people)
I believe I booked it at the very end of January and just grabbed the days ( before then i had been checking on & off all of last year!) from what i hear you have to be really quick and a good time to check is around the end of a month (as thats when the coming month becomes open) in the wee hours of the morning i.e stupid o'clock when you should be sleeping- if i remember right when i booked mine at around 3am- there were quite a few slots available but surprise surprise i checked it around 10am again whilst trying to get a friend to book in and they had all been taken!

It's news to me that this even exists!! Whereabouts on the site is this? How did everyone else hear about it? Am I just blind? Shall I stop asking so many questions...?
It really does exist! I did it too, it took me a while to get all three days, but it does exist! It gets booked up very quickly, but it's a really interesting (and short) day, and definitely worth doing if you can. Keep looking, you never know when someone may cancel a day they've got booked.
I tried as well but probably didn't look regularly enough...but now that I pay the subscription, I can't find the link to that option anymore : where is it?!!!
If you pay the premium, like I do, then you don't get the offer on the upgrade page.
In order to see it you need to allow the premium offer to lapse. Which is a bit silly really.
I know the business has our money already but it would be good to be able to apply for the "work in the office" offer even if we're currently paying cash to upgrade.
Go to your homepage, then click on the link that says invite friends for 1 week free membership or something to that effect. once on that page it metions something about other ways to earn free membership- click on the 'help in office' link and hey presto!
booked up for april but read my post above about how to get in there for May-Downside is most people using the forum have now read this link..so if they use the tips provided by all, chances might be even slimmer! :)

I did it this week just passed and had a great time in the office.
I worked out when the dates became available by checking back every so often. I only had a week off drama school until I graduate in July and managed to book that week.
It won't fall in your lap, you do have be on the ball about booking it because, clearly, lots of people want to do it.
And, as we've established already it will never fall into your lap if you subscribe and pay cash for an upgrade.
We don't get the button to recommend friends nor do we get the button to claim pending free weeks because friends have joined.
I have to say this is dashed unfair. OK so I pay, willingly, for the premium service but I wouldn't mind having the chance to get the subscription in return for working a few days in the office.
I suppose I could always take the seemingly draconian step of cancelling my premium membership.
hmmm,not entirely sure thats's correct as i was a fully paid up premium member when I booked in for the week...and in fact d.d had only just come out when i went into the office and was offered the choice to have it re-funded or wait before getting my year's free...chose the latter.
And all the time last year i was checking was a premium member then.(paid up for a yr) and if i'd found a date would have booked in.Maybe send them an email and ask for clarification?
Colin, I'm a fully signed up member and, although this had never been brought to my attention (I would have loved to have done it in years gone by too which is annoying), I can access it.
On the home page, click the green heading halfway down the left-hand side - "Invite friends (earn free membership)" - the green heading, not the "Invite" button beneath it.
From there, click the green-highlighted section of the sentence at the top "variety of ways" and then, "learn more" under the "Help in the CCP offices (one YEAR free)" heading.
I hope that's all clear! It is certainly incredibly well hidden and has taken me 4 years (thereabouts) to even learn of its existence!!!
