OK for this thread i was thinking that everyone (I'm trying to get every single member, near enough)to write in one fact that they know about an Actor or film etc.
For example

-Did you know that Marlon Brando's real name was marlon Brandeux?

OooOOo I've got another one...

Jean-Claude Van Damme was the alien in the original "PREDATOR" for almost all the jumping and climbing scenes.

Got to start somewhere I guess!

Ok Godfather Part 3 fans. Did you know:

1. Robert De Niro was considered for the role of Vincent in Part 3 with Madonna as Mary but when one became unavailable the casting process started from scratch.

2. Winona Ryder was going to play but collapsed due to exhaustion before filming began and was replaced by Sophia Coppola. She promised to make it up to Francis and appeared in his next film: Dracula.

3. Robert Duvall was written out of the script because he wanted too much money.

4. Coppola wanted to call the film 'The Death of Michael Corleone' but the studio wouldn't let him (hope that hasn't spoilt the ending for all those out there who haven't sen it. But if you haven't, why not?)

5. There was meant to be a sex scene between Michael and Kay but this was dropped from the scrip when Al Pacino dropped Diane Keaton in real life!

6. There's still talk of a Godfather Part 4 with Dicaprio as Vincent. Dear god no!!!

Hi All,

Ok, Singing In The Rain.

Jean Hagen (who plays the squeaky voiced Lina Lamont) provides the singing voice for Debbie Reynold's character Kathy Selden. The irony is that in the film, Kathy provides the singing voice for Lina!!! Therefore, Jean Hagen is providing the voice for her own character!!!!

And Hitchcock.

Apparently Alfred Hitchcock was amused by practical jokes. Rumour has it that he once spiked a cameraman's tea with laxatives and, at the end of the day, chained him to his camera and left him there all night!!!

All I can say is, one of them must have had a very rough paper round.

Take care my lovlies.x

Chris, that was a legendary comment.

Did you know...?

George Lucas was set on casting a young British unknown to play Queen Amidala in the most recent Star Wars Trilogy, and spent some time attempting to do just that before dashing everyones hopes and going with Natalie Portman....(Yes, I was one of them, when I was 15!)

Always a pleasure Helena.

Here's one that I'll probably get sued for or assassinated or something. So apologies in advance if I cause offence or got it wrong.

So in best newspaper terminology-It is alleged that Pat Butcher and Hyacinth Bouquet are an item. I wonder how many cats they have?

Marlon Brando didn't bother learning his lines for 'Superman' and read them off props on set. Not for the first time, either, apparently.

On the subject of Mr Brando, he was given the title 'The World's Greatest Living Actor' by Maxim magazine. The issue was published the day after his death...

In the Lord of the Rings trilogy, everytime you see a long shot of the Hobbits alongside humans, they are being played by tiny women like me! (I am a strapping 5 footer). Wonder how much they were paid...
