Hey sweetie pies,

Grateful for some feedback on these issues.

1. How do you adjust your wing mirrors accurately. (apart from guess).

2. I have problems parking and manoeuvering the car in tight spaces - any advice how to ovecome this?

Thanks

Thankyou Toni. This was filmed in April/May. Am taking the car every week to the swimming pool now - however did not stop me almost getting locked into the car park!

Excellent! I've only just passed my test (8 weeks) and got my car just over a week ago and I just love driving around. Getting better at reverse parking too :0))

Hey Fuzz only just caught this post but saw you on tv last night you look graet on film by the way. I am sure now after appearing on the show that you have all the answers. I am a driving instructor and actor! The wing mirrors need positioning 1/3 sky and 2/3 road they should be tilted towards you just so that you can see some of the door handle.
When reversing use the door mirrors you need to see what you back tyre is doing do not rely on this though as your only visual you need to make good observation all around as you manoeuvre. Practise reversing into a gap that is empty on both sides then practise with one car and then into a space with cars either side. Use ref points in the back quarter window. and make sure you evaluate how much steering to put on as it take you the driver longer to feel the wheels actually steer the car on the reverse.
Good luck keep practising and yes stick to the limit they are set for a reason you are less likely to kill a person at 30 and you are 50 times more likely to really injure or kill a person at 40! safe for life remember driving is a privillege not a right! Also if anyone in the nottingham areas need driving lessons mail me on here or pass my details to your friends ...ha ha cheeky plug!

Thanks for that Tammy. Gonna try this weekend. Fine manouvering is the next step. I also saw you on TV in an advert!

Does anyone know where I can get a good quality magnetic P plate? Halfords have sticky or tie on only. The magnetic ones I see are too flimsy and fly off.

Thanks
