2 queries, both related. FIrst, I was wondering if there is a way to be notified by email when an audition appears. I know there are twitter post, but I was wondering if there is a way to get an email notification that a job I have flagged in my search comes up.
It was while I was going through my profile section that I realised that even though I have "receive daily emails" ticked, I've never received an email from Mandy regarding a job. Has anyone else encountered this?

Thanks for posting. We have taken a look into this and the site is sending job alert emails to the email address you have registered, so it looks like it may be a problem with your email service provider causing you not to receive them.
I would advise the following to ensure you are able to receive job alerts from us;
- Please check your spam folder to ensure job alert emails are not being sent there
- Add [email protected] to your safe senders list
- If you are using hotmail, please check your spam sensitivity settings

thank you for the quick reply. I check my spam folder every day as I have other emails that do accidentally get sent there. I have never received an email from [email protected] in regard to job alerts. Is there something I need to check in my profile settings?

I've just gone through my archive and emails. the last email I received from [email protected] was in July 2018. I never noticed I wasn't getting emails anymore until I upgraded to a premium membership. any assistance will be appreciated.

I do get emails for both the actor and voice jobs but some go straight into spam. Some are not relevant to my casting. That said I know I don't get all the jobs I end up applying for.
Quick question that is sort of related to notifications/ work… when you apply for something and check on the application status and it tells you how many views of your sample read you have had, does this include when you check or does it only monitor outside people/the company you applied with and how many times it was viewed ( not including you)? Just wondered how accurate the view numbers were.. many thanks!
Hi Catherine, The view count does include how many views you have given it yourself (and if you view it multiple times, it will count it multiple times, not just once per IP address or login)

Simon, I don't believe you are stupid in this at all. there has been been a bit of learning curve with all the changes. Myself, I found a couple of my settings magically reset to default. I say magically, as I can't remember if I changed them or if it was a Mandy issue. Firstly, check under your profile setting to see if you are still set up to receive emails. then check the jobs notifcations under the jobs tab. If it's something beyond that, you might need to directly contact tech support. i hope the issue is sorted soon for you
