"I'm really into international cooking and use a lot of fresh ingredients so its really important that I have sharp knives which are easily accessible."

.....well that's what I said anyway.....whilst trying to contain my excitement - of course.

Someone should be compiling a list of the more 'weird and way out'job listings!

I wonder who's responded? They must be very imaginative.

I immediately dismissed the casting, not least because I think there are...ahem...certain faces that you don't cast when you are asking an actor to enthuse about knives on screen. It might give slightly the wrong impression!

It's not an item that will be screened on general release, but restricted to those little tellys you see in such stores as Robert Dyas - which might give you a clue as to who they are. You get to keep the knives.......

Might be very handy if you have an adagio act ( I think that's the right word I mean a knife thrower) unfortunately I don't and like Lee just went "erm no!"

Get to keep the knives, eh? If I was a butcher and not an actor, I might be tempted....

Oh and by the way - I think Forbes and Lee should be cast FOR DEF and I (with my psycho wife face)could lurk over their shoulders with a large bucket of "something" waiting to be chopped up. Three psychos together - it's a fresh approach and could be just what the company need....? :) x

There's got to be a comedy sketch in this.

I had a Knife Block made with an extra groove in it ... it was somewhere the mother-in-law could park her tongue.

I'm obviously considered too young to be in control of such a dangerous weapon ;)

But I LOVE knife blocks! Many's the hour I've spent in John Lewis' kitchen department lusting after one.

That said, I can work up enthusiasm for anything so I've gone for it - I'll let you know if I've got the kind of face that can launch a thousand knife blocks :-))
