Oooh Forbes - I see Mr Hillier has replied via the other site - Oh that is good news to see - he must have parked his limo or rested his G&T in haste to reply! Oh you know I would love to join in and ask the next question - But I don't think we need a sudden gear change by the excitable Houlty to do this - but I look forward to what Dan (not H) what's his name to reply! I think perhaps he won't though - do you?

Ahh "the right actors for the class". The ones with money to burn perhaps?
And what is the difference between a masterclass & a workshop? Just a hundred quid or so!

If you want controversial then give me ten minutes talking about Bernard Hiller, a man I had the dubious pleasure of spending a fair amount of time with for a TV show. Less of a drama teacher and more of a cult leader in my opinion.

No sooner than invited you all over to join in the fun on Hubbard Castings forum/wall than a corporate decision was made by them to shut it all down to protect their global reputation!

And like a pheonix from the ashes I've setup the British Actor Network to replace it! There certainly seems to be a need as inthe first 3 hours we gained over 120 members!

So why don't you all come on over there and join in the fun!

is the url and it will hopefully pickup where the Hubbards group left off!

Myself and Amy Hubbard are currently the only admins and we will appoint further admins as required!

See you over there!

@Forbes KB

Not having a facebook account at present, please could you explain to me the difference between the forum there and the CCP forum, and any benefits to posting on the facebook forum as opposed to posting here.

Best.

FB is free.....and therefore open to many more actors than who pitch in on here!! Subject to Forbes allowing them to do so!

Exactly! It's free and always will be unless Facebook changes their business model!

Giving advice and voicing your opinions should be free, that's why the Hubbard Casting group wall, which I used to moderate, became so popular but that popularity also became the reason for it's ultimate demise!! Over on Hubbards we had just over 7,000 members! With that many active members all posting, discussing, debating, advising and on occasion arguing under the Hubbard Casting banner it was beginning to threaten the global reputation the Hubbard family have worked so hard over the past 3 decades to build up so like a pheonix from the ashes The British Actors Network was born!

It's currently less than 24hrs old and will evolve over time however, unlike the majority of the other services including this one, how that evolves will be 100% down to the membership! You!!

Excellent idea, I'm really trying to start 'using' Facebook as a tool for acting more than looking at drunk pictures of my mates and videos of cats... I've requested to join your spanky new group Forbes! Look forward to some juicy debate!

Did Morrissey know?

The Smiths- Panic (1986)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AlH2oYedfk

Who could the lyrics be referring to?:

"The Leeds side streets that you slip down. Provincial towns you jog 'round...Hang the DJ"

You may notice in the video: Face kisses skull with smoke coming from mouth, children skipping, eery grabbing hand in front of camera, hovering and spinning crown, burning establishment building, childrens choir singing in unison at finish "Hang the DJ, hang the DJ, hang the DJ..."

Best regards to all.
