Has anyone ever had an audition from this site?
Has anyone here ever actually got an audition let alone a job from this site? I have sent off for so many over the years and not once have i even been asked to audition...Just wondered if it is the same for others?
Yes. Some great work from here, all paid. Think one of the best was a 6 month theatre tour across Italy.
CCP is in my mind second to Spotlight for work, just my opinion :-) I think you just have to keep applying, but don't get too hung up on it. Patience is one of the hardest things in this industry, and I'm not a patient person, I hate waiting for anything. Seek and you will find.
With regards to location. As long as you are able to get to the casting and rehearsals and obviously for the project if successful in all 3, then you should be ok.

I have recieved one or two off this site but compared to the Vast amount that don't even send acknowledgement that you've applied it's quite poor.
Generally when I apply for a role I make absolutely sure I match the brief and in doing that I've done it right. Now when you go to that much effort to make sure that you not only match the brief physically but professionally too I think it's common courtesy to at least let the actor know they've not made the cut.
I know many will disagree with me on this but politeness and common courtesy are very simple traits to apply to any job title & for them to be disregarded so easily is a very prime example of why so many have little faith in the industry.
I've had quite a few, might be worth along with headshots (colour and black and white) it might be good for you to get some stills from films you have done, casting directors can see what you looking like in different characters in film stills.
Also a showreel would help it's all about variety my friend.

Yeah I've had quite a few auditions from ccp, some good advise offered above me though! Best of luck and keep trying!
Yes I have only been on around 3 months had two jobs, audition in London and two employers contact me direct without applying. I thought I might struggle being 64 as most popular casting age is 18-50. So- so far so good
I haven't had an audition for a while, but I have more than covered my subscription over the years, and get offered a lot of work without auditioning.
I wish there was a function, where you could control unsolicited mail about unpaid work, I get these requests a lot, which is really annoying when you are hoping for an audition.
I also hate receiving messages saying I haven't got the part when I haven't even auditioned!
It has gone downhill a lot however, castings for NMW shouldn't be allowed in my opinion!
