In an effort to find an agent (AGAIN!), I've begun a systematic marathon trawl through CCP checking out agents and their clients (seeing who's been working regularly/recently etc).
The only reason I'm telling you all this, Inspector, is because, for some strange reason, whenever I check out someone's CCP profile - and they then inevitably check out mine in return - I always feel unaccountably guilty/voyeuristic. Does anybody else get this same feeling? (Please SOMEONE say yes...).
Anyway, should your profile get a visit or multiple visits from me over the next few weeks, don't worry. I'm not stalking you - even though I am.

PS I would also like to contact some of you privately, as I have -gasp- been approached recently by a couple of agents, and such questions I have about them - for those of you who are represented by them and who use the green room regularly - I feel uncomfortable about asking in a public forum. Hope this is okay.
I think the snooping is perfectly healthy- I've regained contact with quite a few people through it...
That said, I recently did a student film, and checked up on my other actors before the shoot. One in particular really took umbridge at the fact I knew stuff about him- just his drama school etc, and accused me of being nosey.
How can it be nosey if it's out on the internet? That's like having a slogan t-shirt and complaining everyone's looking at your chest.
Frankly if I hadn't done that, we wouldn't have spoken at all throughout the shoot.
I suppose that is my greatest fear realised about snooping.
But I shan't stop!
Generally I check profiles to watch showreels to perhaps get an idea for my next edit, to listen to audio reels for the same reason, to see who is working (especially those getting the roles cast via CCP) and to have a look at folks websites to see if I can get any ideas.
Also I have a terrible memory for names and faces and often see pictures of people in the featured profile that I'm sure I have either worked with or met at a social before. The fact that they're all female and hot is totally irrelevant ;o)
Me too, Hugh - and I find it quite interesting to see just who's viewed my profile - although I suppose it should be expected as a relative newcomer to the site. I don't mind - in fact, at times, it's quite flattering to think people are interested to see what I've done and who I am.

My dearest Sasha! How the Red Hot Devil are you? I, the Gooseman am good. (horrible Mrs Gooseman problems but nothing that a swift squark and sharp nipping wouldn't sort out) My towering companion the Captain is away for the forseeable future - apparantly some foul business with a seagull and a herd of sperm whale in the northern most sea. I'm sure he'll cope though.
I was beginning to wonder whether you had retired from sleuthing. (i even gave the beautiful Becs a top clue earlier today and yet it seems that she did not pick up on it..i'm quite disappointed.)
I would've thought that this ability to check out any and all of the members on here would have made your task that so much easier. Let the stalking begin I reckon! I mean most people check those that have checked them out first...don't they?
Back to the stalkathon thing for a moment (sorry gooseman). If anybody does feel like stalking someone make sure you do it all in one day, as it only lists dates not times.
Not that I'm advocating stalking in any way of course.
Hi Gooseman - unfortunately I have had to retire form sleuthing for a wee while whilst I ply my trade - yes, I have been working very hard as we poor young things have to do, so have only been able to log on occasionally - and when I have, have been very selfishly replying to the personal mail I have had waiting for me. Once my task is finished no doubt Becs, Jenni and I will return to the very important job of uncovering you both - high seas are no deterrent to us blonde babes when we set our minds to it! Becs, I leave the Gooseman and The Captain in your very capable hands whilst I am away. Jenni, can we ahve you back on board please?
