OK so I am a size 8/10 i know that's not fat but does any one else feel the pressure to be skinner then they are?

basically I told some a person who came in to the pub where i work that i was an actress and he said 'i thought you had to be anerexically thin to look good on camera!' it has just nagging in the back of my head so does any one else feel this pressure to stay thin not because the camera adds 10 punds or whatever but with society in general?

Also what do toy guys consider to be too skinny? for me it is a UK size 4

Any one know any nice tasting food that is good for you except fruit and veg?

Many female celebrities look too thin and 'funny faced' because of botox. The magaziness still portray them as fashion icons.

I think different things work for different people. I found out a few years ago I had a wheat allergy. So, I keep non-wheat pasta and non-wheat bread at home . Wheat can make you really bloated. Pilates is brilliant. It strengthens the tummy muscles so your posture is straight. Good posture is important for long-term health. I also attend a ladies only swimming session at my local pool. Excellent! I think it's kept me feeling young and excercise in general releases happy hormone.

Fuzz has hit the nail on the head here. It's not a question of being TOO skinny or fat, it's being comfortable in your own skin and not feeling the need to justify yourself to anyone.

Yes, I'm tall and slim but I'm also hurtling towards 30 and still end up in castings with new graduates of 21ish. I have to compete so I hit the gym to make sure I look my best for my own peace of mind and health. It works, I feel stronger and my ass wobbles less. It a win-win situation. And before you say it, no I don't enjoy the gym but it's part of the business just like singing lessons and acting classes.

Your body is your tool, and fat or thin it's your responsibility to make sure it works as well as possible. Ignore the ill-advised commentary from those outside the industry, you wouldn't listen if they told you all actors had to be able to sing would you?

I am a bliever that your body is your temple and I am down the gym pretty much everyday to maintain it but they thing is that people still have this idea that actors have to be skinny which is annoying as you see plently of actors that are not.

does anyone have any good ways of shifting spots?
