My point being, those that get continued work do so by not asking over the top amounts. Ok so they made it, Ok so they have status on some level, but it's only ever short lived. I love the old variety show that used to be on TV, sad but true, I'd rather see these guys doing something in that than exploiting themselves for jsut a few more minutes of air time.
That's just my opinion chris, each to their own. I get verbal over things that're important to me and things I feel strongly about too, but really? a debate over who was a celeb? Adam Ant was a national icon, he hasn't been for 20years though, Hoff? Well he has his own problems, nice to see he's still making a go. Grace Jones? Great Model! Apart from view to a kill, a shoddy pop career and smacking a few photographers and journalists well, Yippeee! (we all feel like that and applauded her) But we haven't seen her for ages in anything! But come on, they are b and c list celebs, known for who they were, bring them back that way not this tiresome way. But it appeals to those who believe it the normal way to get into the industry, so it'll keep screening!
Their is some morbid fascinatin to it, I have to agree, the principal of it all though makes my skin crawl, the amount of people out of work in the business because of this, on and off screen, warrants why there's such a strong following of those wishing reality tv to be stopped.
Anyway,
Enjoy
