I'm Done!

Hi everybody, hope your all well?

After careful consideration and months of soul searching I have decided to cease my asperations as an actor.
I have wonderful memories, and I much as I enjoyed the actual work, alot of factors I didn't like and I struggled with.
and as well thinking of my family, as sad as it is it his the best decision for me and will now pursue other passions and interests.
I have enjoyed reading the forums and comments by all actors on this site, and I mean this from the heart I wish you all the very very best in your careers as performers.
I hope you all have more luck and happiness than I did, and look forward to watching you all on TV of film with my popcorn :)

Much love and luck

Tony :)

You're still young then Clive and the hailstorm outside has made it impossible to do any gardening today.
You don't have to pay any NI contribtions when you're 65 either

hi Tony,

sorry to see you go. This is also a hobby for me and doesn't really pay. I have my day job for that. But I enjoy the challenge of learning the Art and bettering myself. That keeps me going and motivated. 'Sucking up' happens in most jobs I've found, I guess others may pay you a lot more to do it. Maybe just run acting as a hobby, read a book or an article on it now and again. I hope you find another direction on the many paths in life. Good luck.
Kind regards,
Zaff

I'm done too. My second attempt in the industry has been a fruitless one, again. I know everyone says the best thing is to go to an 'accredited' theatre school but I can't afford it. I am returning to permanent work with holiday pay, sick pay and a pension. I will carry on with the singing training and am dram.
