jobs posted and gone in an instant
Has anyone else found this or is it just me? A job being posted (like one today). I immediately get on to it and edit and go to apply and the job's already gone in the space of a couple of hours - but the closing date for applications says 7th August...what is the point of a closing date when it doesn't mean anything and you've wasted time and effort?
Editorial Comment Hi Jilly, thanks for posting in our forum. We can appreciate that this is frustrating, however it can sometimes be the case that employers receive a large number of applications in a short space of time, or may close the job early for another reason. It may be that the employer decides to reopen the job at a later date.
