One thing we need to bear in mind is that the Voice Over community is saturated, According to producers, the vast majority are simply not suitable for the business, having either wholly inappropriate voices, inadequate set ups, poor knowledge of what's expected, or all of the above. As a result, producers get SWAMPED with applications, often far more than they can get through. This means that even if you are good, you might not even be seen if they have to wade through a hundred other auditions before they get to you. They may simply not have time to go through them all. To put it into context, I'm on a FB group that has over members who has over 10,000 members. There are 2.4 MILLION members on Mandy.
It's frustrating, but not surprising that it's so hard to get called back on here, but there is a reason why Pay to Play sites like this, VDC and Voices 123 are not generally recommended by professionals.
