Simple answer...no.
But I've heard if you book a ticket to Peterborough then to Leeds (both returns) that it works out a bit cheaper. You can stay on the same train too.

We should never have allowed the bankers to privatise the railways!

Nor the water or PO or gas and electricity.

Are you all storing food away for the hard times a-coming? I hope so!

Des, you must remember that the old system was that WE owned the railways. Every man woman and child in the country. It was run by government departments like the NHS is supposed to be. As was Gas, Electricity, Water et al!
Then Maggie bloddy Thatcher decided to sell off the nations assets to put off a perceived recession caused by Norman Lamont's uselessness. It raised billions of pounds and private companies got a great bargain and made massive dividends for themselves at a cost to the tax payers. NOW we cannot even produce our own power. It is owned by overseas companies. Russia controls the gas, Europe controls the coal, Scandinavia controls any oil we had and the French own our Water companies! God knows who owns the railways!
But as I have said many times on different threads, where a commercial interest applies, profits always come before customers.
Pensioners dying in the cold and the heat...no problem Let's see what our next dividend payment is going to be...
