Monologue Competition

The reason I chose this piece is a lot of tv films and music videos are looking to do projects on this subject sleazy Record producer https://actors.mandy.com/uk/monologue-competition/share/1027867

Good luck to everyone in the Mandy monologue competition. Please view a piece that I have written myself and I would be very appreciative of your vote. Let me know of your pieces and I will be happy to do the same. Best Wishes, Nina Chevalier

A brief word of explanation about my entry. It’s taken from ‘Still Life’, the third play in John Byrne’s highly entertaining trilogy ‘The Slab Boys’.

It’s a winters afternoon in a cemetery in Paisley; a town outside Glasgow. Phil McCann is visiting the graveside of his recently departed mother. The year is 1972. He’s there to take a photograph of her gravestone to send to a relative in distant parts, but discovers that the gravestone has not been put in place. Phil’s mother lived with mental illness all her life, and (always the joker) Phil makes light of this in his graveside chat to her.

Hey Everyone, I would love it if everyone could give my monologue a view and vote if you like it. I will of course do the same in return :).

It was shot with a black screen behind it and the monologue is from 'People,Places,Things' .

Good morning everyone, I hope you're well.

I'm excited to have finally used this Richard III piece for a monologue. I've attempted to channel a more anarchistic approach to the character, here he is breaking the fourth wall bragging about murder and how he manages to entice the dead mans wife. I hope you enjoy it. Please drop it a little vote and I'll do the same for you!

Hi all, I chose to play Vivianne, from a play called 'Women of Twilight' set in a home for single mothers in the 1950s, which turns out to be run by a baby-farming landlady. Please take a look, and I hope you enjoy watching it. I've seen some great videos so far from other applicants!
