new equity website

hey guys, just wondered what people's opinions on the new site were? I didn't know it was coming, and seeing as I was on there the day before I had a big old surprise last night when I logged in to find this new spangly (and dare I say it - stylish!) design!
Also seems a hell of a lot easier to navigate in my humble.
Did take a while to register which was unexpected - luckily I had my equity card to hand, but think it's nice to see the union moving with the times!
Well done anyone who was involved!
xx

Remember Tracy, your branch can put a motion to Council - regarding the new website format...

I found my card- entered my numbers - & now I'm being told the site does not recognise my number. Having happily used the site without problems for a long time I'd be very interested in how much the new site did cost us. Yes - I was aware the site was being changed, but not that it would become useless!

Well, I've just logged on again, having entered all my details for the
Members Directory on Friday, to find that I have to do it all over again!!

Glad I don't have as much trouble with THIS site!!

Well kate started this thread by saying she thought the new website was stylish.

So I'd like to hear from those of you on CCP who aren't Equity members yet and those of you who've let your Equity membership lapse. Please go and visit the new Equity website and let us know what you think.

www.equity.org.uk

Does the new Equity website make it easy to find out about what Equity is and what it does?

Does the new Equity website make you want to join or rejoin Equity?

Does the new Equity website looks stylish and modern to you?

Looking forward to reading your thoughts.

Cheers

I should actually say that, now I have been allowed to log in to the member's section at last - this particular part of the site is rather well put together, and very self - explanatory.

Given that, I suppose, the main pages are designed for visitors and/or prospective members, and the members' pages are much more specific in practical terms, the lay out is actually about right. Once logged in, as Alan I think said, the ability to get info about job offers, contact details, rate levels etc. is nice and easy to access.

I still think advertising booklets like 'Rights and Advice' would be sensible though. (I know there are PDF's on topics like Benefits etc., but I assume they are in a shortened form?).
