Running Lines with Alexa

  • Kerem Kocaer

    Hello fellow actors!

I've recently released an app ( to run lines with Amazon's virtual assistant Alexa. She basically acts like a very patient friend or parent and helps out if you forget a line or get it wrong. Works with an Amazon Echo device or with the free Alexa mobile app.

The website also provides more traditional line learning methods: If you're an auditory learner, you can play an audio file with gaps for your lines. You can also download a PDF with gaps for you to write your lines and notes, etc. Everyone has their own way of learning, so I tried to provide several options.

It works great as a self-tape partner as well, and you can have the different characters read with different voices and accents.

It's still in test phase and I'll be doing improvements along the way. Feel free to give it a try!
