we young actors sometimes need advice or a friend to bend an ear .. We have many young actors on ccp who feel they cant talk to the older actors as some older actors are still seeking agents themselfs so a few young actors and we need more hint hint to be willing to give honest advice and support each other with getting a gent how to get a castings how to promote yourself and most of all back you up im just one of the ppl who are willing to do this for young actors blucky mickey churchill

yeah i think it is needed also if someone has a question and they dont feel too sure about posting it cos maybe think its silly please send private message and we will do our best to answer it as some of the new members have contacts in biz and they will only be too happy to help i think there is a job out theere with your name on so if your reading this its you stay focused and go for it dont ever be put down dont carry any negative remarks remember the hand of loyal frienship is there if you need it some times in this biz you just need to know that micy and friends karma rules anyone got a casting today go and smash it you got our luck with you
Yup....that is a good thing...helping each other out. I think us actors do get a bit insular at times.

At the end of the day Mark, we are all trying to succeed in this line of work! Its like bringing up a puppy, they want to explore and find out where the food is, evetually they find out becuase they watch their owners where they hide it. Guidence is what we need and they only way we can find that is through forums.

Surely CCP is a site for sharing experience and advice for actors of all age groups? Many actors come into the business later than others and it should be a space to openly discuss all aspects regardless of age, experience, ethnicity, religion and/or all other forms of discrimination! Isn't that the meaning of the word forum, an open discussion of subjects of public interest?

yes but sometimes new members feel they cant pm people maybe they are nervous or dyslexic but they need advice so its good to know that like amir mark myself have posted we are open to pm to show kindness cos we all in this together as performers some of us might end up as casting directors agents or directors its nice to be nice mickey

thanks forbes thats kind cos really some members feel maybe out of there depth and we all promise never to put pm on posts so we got a reall good vibe running everyone comming together to help in whateverway and maybe we can give each other the nod if we hear of a job that fits them if like some of us got access to breakdowns out there not on here but out there we can pm that member and tell themm hey mate theres a brief fits you get your agent onto it that makes sence we all so lovely to each other keep positive going its brill mickey spreading the love

My 'door' (pm) is always open to help if I can - but I wanted to say that no-one should feel 'silly' about asking a question, - and by posting it on the forum you may help someone else who didn't know the answer to it either. We are all always learning. Also people have different ideas and suggestions - I think there is usually a better understanding of the answer to a question when there are several brains giving their answers/opinions together.

fantastick but sometimes ppl dont want to post so having this as a option is wonderfull and lets get this going ive just pm a ccp member who is in this bank of open doors with a breakdown he fits the brief so cool lets get everyone in our bank working think how great we will feel power to the people kindness is king mickey
