Sadly since your merge with Backstage./.Star now etc..Mandy just seems rather devalued...its always been efficient , and now the job info is sent out in different formats...is just too " fussy" .it worked well before....this is just my personal view...i will persevere with it.
It's not just your personal view, the Casting Call Pro and Voices Pro forums (I'll call them by their old names) are full of it.
It's difficult to find one single voice which is in favour of what has happened to Mand/Casting Call Pro/Voices Pro.
There is a very real possibility, and it's certainly looking that way, that this merger with Backstage is nothing more than a takeover, with no desire to maintain the features of Mandy, and eventually everybody being forced onto to the Star Now/Backstage platform.
Any attempt to raise issues affecting us, customers, is greeted with lacklustre if any response.
Hi. I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this dilemma; since all the unnecessary changes and modifications, when I now apply for a job and attach a specific file it seems that Mandy just attach one at random which is in no way related to the content needed for the job!! Makes me feel like a dinlo and I am not unconvinced that the potential employer thinks so too! I have tried to contact Mandy about this but have received no response or explanation.

I can't stand it either Carla!!! So disappointed, it used to be so enjoyable and easy to work with and now its exactly as you say "fussy". I'm not sure I will renew my subscription going forward.
If I were them I'd want to restart the tweet alerts, not least to try and dilute the steady stream of cut and paste apology responses that is now the sum total of their social media timeline.
Seems like the new version of site involves cutting all the useful features and adding in glitches and bits that make the UX awkward. Zero additional useful features and significantly less value for money.

Yep....still being bombarded with notifications of jobs I've seen advertised days before--some, past the closing date, and many just not relevant. This is just cluttering up my inbox and wasting time ploughing through them. On Peter's point about random audio being attached to applications, I've checked recent auditions and thankfully this hasn't happened to me but Peter...you're here to find work, I guess, so if a glitch in the system is affecting your chances of success, then you need answers, fast. This forum seems to be the only thing working at the moment. At least we can share experiences and have a rant over a coffee while....hopefully....issues are being sorted! (?) Have a good day, all.

I have had a response from Bukho Zendesk (whoever or what ever that is!) I had 5 queries I needed answers and resolution, but for some reason I only got an answer to 1 question and that was a repeat Bot answer I have received before and that I have also seen given to others. Are we dealing with people or robots?
Well im glad its not just me who is so dissapointed with the merge/reeboot...endless ghastly star now info being sent as well.
I have not experienced the wrong demos attached to submissions yet....but it has made what worked simply and well..( mandy voices)...rather muddled and as someone else said endless messages showing jobs on offer, some of which already closed....this is what happens when big companies swallow up little companies ...a real shame...i suspect Mandy will loose a good few subscribers over the " overcomplication" of things
During the "merge" I was also having all sorts of problems and emailed Mandy directly and to be fair they were good at responding and confirmed they were having ongoing issues.
Dare I say it-these seem to have disappeared now although I'm not getting email dates for new jobs/auditions so I will report that and see what can be done. However, when I dip into the website the jobs that are being filtered to me are pretty much appropriate.
It's been frustrating for everyone I daresay everyone Mandy as well is I guess they have to tow the line and defend what has been a very tricky I T situation.

OMG!!! I am SOOOO pleased this is not just me! I actually thought I was going mad. What on earth have they done? It used to be so simple and easy to use. Now, you can't even see properly if you've even applied?! The 'latest jobs' often want me to apply for Director or Voice Engineer now too, which I most definitely am not :P
I could go on.... but I did that just how and my laptop decided to turn off in the middle and lose it all, as even it had had enough of my moaning! Lol!
Does anyone have any tips on how to combat all these problems? Or can divert me to other VO websites that are good (like Mandy used to be)?

Bodalgo is excellent. Mainly corporate jobs, but proper industry rates. You can also see how many people have applied, what percentage of auditions the job poster generally listens to (so, combined, you can make an informed choice as to whether it's worth applying) Voquent also worth having a profile on. Again, you set your own rates.
Myself, I'm still a little frustrated by the jobs. filtering actually still doesn't differentiate btwn boys and girls very so, which is a first world issue, but the latest jobs board is a mess. I think once you've applied for the job, the new little green "to apply" box should either be greyed out or disappear. there is just too much going on now. Also, the response I got back from my resident "bot" support email in regard to email notifications was not anytime soon. I'm sure others have not had the bot treatment, but the support person assigned to me insists on pulling my name from my email address.... which is not my name. I've actually asked 3 times to please address me with my actual name, or not at all. the fact nothing has changed says to me I'm part of an email chain group, and that just kinda makes me less smiley about Mandy. I used to be a proponent. Maybe I still would be with proper support feedback. Right now, things are sort of annoying. and that is not something I want to pay for, lol.
I'll give them June. I understand mercury is in retrograde. maybe a new planetary alignment or new moon can help things. Stars now aren't helping (see what i did there..... cough..... I'll just be in the corner with my crayons)
No matter how much of a muddle this site is in at the moment...and it is....it's actually very nice to 'meet' some other VOs on here to talk it through ! It's important Mandy get to see it all, too. Good luck everyone in navigating your way through it all !
this is interesting in itself. all these last posts, which all appeared within the last 5 minutes, are labelled as 1hr ago. this might be why new jobs that are appearing little minutes within me checking say they were posted an hour ago. I think Mandy has a new minimum clock. It used to be within minutes if I recall. Now, jobs will appear and say they've been there for 2 hours. For me, that is important. if I'm missing 2 hours of opportunity, that is important. If the time is off, that explains a bit. still not happy about it, but it adds to my sense of what needs fixing still. If it's broken, it's not me simply missing a posting.
