The next reality TV show.

Graham Norton presents 'To Be or Not To Be' - the search for a Hamlet and Ophelia for the new RSC's productions. Each week the contestants perform tasks such as 'Who's mother is more attractive?' and the girls all try to drown themselves. (Whoever dies goes through to the next round). With John Barrowman, Denise Van Outen and a digitally re-created Laurence Olivier in the Lord's chair.

Well I think it has serious potential. Any thoughts?

And now it's the actors. Well!! Good luck anyone that goes for it. I won't launch an attack on this modern take of the casting couch!! Just remember guys, if you're going for it, legs behind your ears and think of Glory!!!

Really? Oh lol, never mind then!! But it woudln't surprise me.
Bring back the fly on the wall documentaries that people watched and loved!! We were more respected when an audience saw the effort and hard work behind a show or film, and the theatres were full, there's no need for all this crap that on our tv right now. it's so unprofessional!!

I guess it was a joke, especially the dead one going through to the next round.
However the better show would be judged by Simon Cowell, Amanda Burton and the late great Marylin Monroe. The first 'task' would be to see who could prepare the best recipe for a multi topped pizza.

Damn it, my sense of humour obviously doesn't translate well onto screen. I also have to wonder at the spelling errors - I was obviously knackered.

No more green room postings for me. Woe.

I've got the lot for another tv show... you get someone to reply and appear in every reality show and film them going for one after the other. Their 'talent' should be playing comb and bog roll or something and they film the ups and downs of that person's emotional ride.
That person should be someone who immediately attracts your sympathy without actually engaging with them. More than that they should instantly makes you think of a small dog who trembles at loud noises....
Can anyone add to this?

Alan!
Haven't we already got the dogs in our business already?

We suffer from COLLIEwobbles, some actors are "barking" mad, there are plenty of bitches, some are DOGmatic, plenty of dogged doggerel, a few often CURSe,we are HOUNDED, we get HUSKY...and...a few lucky ones become SHOW DOGS!

Best I can do when I'm spending Sunday afternoon in the dog kennel!

Even better why not get several people and film them doing this for every reality show. Some have absolutely no chance and one or two have talent but can't get over their nerves!
Wahaay! A Winner or what?

Of course Cameron MacIntosh missed out on a real coup with I'd Do Anything - he should have auditioned the Bullseye role! I wonder how many people would start honing their animal acting skills?
