Website bug or update in progress?

Not sure if this is a current bug with the Mandy website, or whether updates have been in progress for some time, but is anyone else noticing the following...

It happens mainly when I view my Mandy profile without being logged in, but sometimes it happens when I AM logged in and click "View Profile". The formatting is completely different! The reviews aren't condensed/collapsed....they're laid out in full in a list format. Photographs are the same. New reviews don't have a date, just a "0" and are listed at the bottom.

And then the credits. My 2020 credits are not in the order that I put them in, they're all switched around.

So it just looks a bit untidy, compared to normal. If Mandy is "doing a Spotlight", and experimenting with a website upgrade...this one looks a bit dodgy to me.

I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with the formatting of your profile. We have had a recent update to the system. New reviews should still appear with the correct date attached, however, please do contact us at emails@mandy.com if your new review is not showing correctly.

Hi everyone,

Has your ability to ‘star’ jobs also disappeared? I can no longer save jobs i am interested in and that was the feature i liked the most about Mandy. Especially if you have to film a self-tape and then later can’t find the specific job in the listing.
I honestly don’t know why Mandy have made an update, it was working perfectly fine previously and i have noticed there isn’t the same amount of job listings coming through as before!

OK so I have another gripe! I untick the 'Alert me to future replies' and I am still getting updates and when I return the box is ticked again!!

Its just awful- The search format, the jobs and the filters just don't work- Having to format you playing age for every search.... really Mandy, sort it or I am OFF

Yes, I agree! Far too many messages about jobs that aren't really relevant. Feels like site padding. The fees are starting to feel ridiculous when weighed against the actual content/genuine opportunities.

I'm currently finding that I can't apply for jobs at all on my Voice profile, and on my Actor profile a message came through today dated two months ago offering me a recall. Literally inexplicable.

Also, the site is slow and sluggish. I've just had someone look at my profile, no idea if the name is the title of the piece (can't find any reference to it in the jobs section) or if it's the name of the company. Really frustrating. Almost as frustrating as last night's meeting re the Actors' Centre -now the Seven Dials Playhouse. More and more, actors are being pushed to the sidelines as afterthoughts and being shown no respect at all.

Gotta say I had a VO casting alert just come through on my phone, it states to do ASAP, but there's nothing I can do. The job from the production company doesn't show up on my Mandy jobs page, so sat at my computer, mic attached etc I can't send in what I want to do. But looking back at my phone again viewing the job from Backstage/Mandy...pressing 'more' for more information then it states record the demo script, but this Professional can't from a mobile, instead where I want to be with my Computer and Pro Equipment.
I have patience, I embrace change for the better, but when I am paying for something which is not working, yes a refund is required. It is very frustrating and gotta say Mandy you should have advised us if there was going to be any major updates that may disrupt us, anotherwards losing auditions, jobs and money.
Mandy been with you for absolutely ages and I still want to carry on that working relationship, but I do hope you are listening to your Clients.

Toni Brooks you were absolutely right. They responded saying that it's all fixed and they had no problem setting the age range.

I think I've had enough of this, Spotlight is more widely recognised and £80 cheaper a year. I will probably switch to them.

Absolutely agree with all the other comments. The new format is a mess. My search parameters don’t work, I keep receiving audition notifications from Backstage for unpaid work which I’m not remotely interested in and a job I applied for has disappeared!

Ghastly service from you Mandy at the moment, even when I email you there is no proper response, the new web sight is total confusion, indeed, it seems there is more confusion and inability to service members than there is to ensure they get work !

Why did they join up with Backstage? We’re they running out of money? Was it a lifeline and to heck with the paying members? You’re throwing the baby out with the bath water guys if you don’t address the issues raised here. Better to fold and disband rather than cause all this strife. See if someone else can come up with a fair way to accommodate actors and casters alike on an even playing field.

Jobs aren't coming through for me! and I'm find new job postings on the 3rd page in! same with the disappearing applications and i'm now receiving 'mandy' job update emails that i unsubscribed to, though
when i clicked to unsubscribe again it's taking me to the backstage website?

Does anyone know what the valid reasoning is for Mandy being more expensive than some of the other casting sites? looking at Casting Network, which is half the price? anyone any opinions on this? and if casting network is worth switching to?

They want to make money, regardless? I've just got a reply to my response to their initial email to them regarding the site. The reply was identical to the first. Proof that they don't care, they just want to make money. I wonder if the people running it now are the same as those who started it? As I recall, it (then CCP) was born from the site Shooting People. I do think they had a bit of integrity in those days but, like a lot of aspects of our lives these days, integrity seems to be a thing of the past.
