What to put in CVs

Hi all

Ok, another new topic (going to make the most of this facility!)

Recently went to London to appear in a commercial filmed by Union (Michel Baldwin was the director).
I thought it was a brilliant day, we were looked after well and it was a great experience.
The problem is, that it may not be broadcast. It was filmed in October last year, and no news of it being screened has popped up. We were told it may not get shown, and im cool with that, like i said it was a great day and i learned a lot. I've put it on my CV but i'm wondering if i should take it off, as it's not been shown. Does it count as work? I know it's a really pernickity point but i don't want to be someone who puts any old muddles on my CV. Anyone else from the Mail on Sunday commercial got any ideas? And what do folks here use as criteria for adding things to a CV?
Love and chocolate to all (unless you have an allergy, then have a tasty snack of your choice)

Has anyone here uploaded a copy of their CV that is on one page?

How ever much I try I can;t seem to fit it on one page...... maybe I am laying out wrong!
Which goes back to the original posting in this thread, does anyone know of a kind of CV template?

Hello Rebecca

I will download your CV and see if I can reduce it to a page for you.

Personally I would avoid using a template. Your CV is all about you the actor and it could be your one impression on a casting director. Don't give the wrong impression by being a clone of someone else. You're an individual - make your CV individual too.

Agreed. I have just sent Rebecca a grid table which she can put the information she already has in the same order but lays the information out more efficiently on the page.

Pretty simple.

1. Take out all the spaces between credits.

2. Don't need a photo, as you will be sending a headshot.

3. Change the font to Arial, Size 9 or 10.

That will make a single page, at most.

No-one's CV needs to be more than one page.

My CV is one page, and I can fit 50 credits on it. When you do more work, delete the lower sutff. I refuse to believe anyone has 3 pages worth of credits important enough to show a casting director.
