Working for Free
Would you believe it! My Boiler has broke and I cannot find a trained plumber who will fix it for expenses only!

Eight castings on this site this morning that I am eligible to submit for. All eight are unpaid.
God my wife is going to kick me out.
Oh for Gods Sake....what is it with Plumbers???!!
Um...hang on...tell the plumbers that you will "Feed and water them" and that you will give them a nice picture of the new boiler installation....that should do the trick!!
Tell them you'll film it and give them a copy.
haha i saw a casting on another site today (not ccp) for an expenses only film! but in the breakdown they say that they cannot afford to pay expenses and they only said they would to get it listed on the casting site! hahah
Phew...thank Goodness this thread is not attracting any sarcasm!
ha! the irony of it all is that the first job i have just found that is unpaid but near to where i live added in the casting call that "no experience is necessary" ..... lol what do i make of that?

well Plumbing is just a hobby after all...
This was one of my favourite ads:-
"Expenses, meals and copy of DVD/footage for showreel.
…we are looking for (brilliant!) actors who are able to work on 1-4 nights depending upon the role as the project involves night shoots towards the end of March/beginning of April. There are also moving car scenes so an ability to drive may be a requirement."
Not only do they want actors for free...they want brilliant actors for free!!!
And, as if anyone is going to admit to not being a brilliant actor anyway.

Perhaps you needed to say you're a student for your plumber to come for free?? And don't forget to add that it will be an extremely rewarding experience for them ;-)

...and that they will be working with first class 'professional crew' in the shoot...don't forget to mention that when you ask your plumber to do it for free, cover his own costs AND pay for the DVD copy and testimonial...and bring some sandwiches for the rest of the crew

Its a website dedicated to helping professional plumbers who are looking for work.
On there the plumbers pay around £150 plus per year to the website to access professional plumbing jobs.
The really great thing is, 75% of them are for clients like yourself. ie: Clients who are willing to give the plumbers the chance to work for zilch!
It might be worthwhile looking them up?
Only one thing... some of the professional plumbers on that site might expect some money for doing the work....obvioulsly you need professional and skilled plumbers to fix your boiler, who will work for "nothing" So do tell them how fixing your boiler will raise their professional profile!
Other than that.....ummmm.....have you tried Plumber School students?!!
