Probably the 1000th post about headshots on here. Just wondered if anyone could recommend a current headshot photographer who is willing to spend enough time with you to get the photos you want. In a price range of around £70-£220?

I had my photos taken by Michael Pollard in Manchester! He was great had a really relaxed approach and didn't feel like he was rushing and really quite cheap £95!

I just had mine done by Sheila Burnett. She was really great and friendly, she made me feel very relaxed and spent a lot of time going through different ideas and looks with me to get the right shots.

I got headshots taken by Mario Schwartz. He only charges 100 GBP for students and he really takes his time for you. He helped me find the right angles for me and helped me relax loads.
I recently had my headshots done with Michael Wharley and was so impressed. It was £145 for an hour including 2 edited photos, but he does longer sessions too.

Not at all Trevor! I actually got mine when Sheila was doing discounted sessions for CCP so I paid £90 and got an hour and a half shoot with two images included, then paid £10 for each extra shot I wanted.

Normally her shoots are £250 but obviously you get a lot more time and more images included.

He shoots outside using natural light, knows what agents/CDs look for in a photo and takes time to find out what roles you want to appeal to and what looks you want to achieve.
Friendly, relaxed and until the end of May only £100 for a session and three retouched pictures in colour and black and white (£10 per extra shot).
Hi. I would highly recommend Claire Grogan Photography, she has her own website and is extremely good. She will not rush your shoot and will certainly get the best shots. Claire will shoot in her studio and outdoors to which give you a fantastic balance of headshots for your portfolio.
Like Carli, I also got my headshots done by Sheila Burnett at the discounted CCP price of £90. The one and a half hour session with her didn't seem rushed at all as I had earlier feared. In fact, Sheila was very friendly and the atmosphere in her studio immediately put me at ease. She was also very helpful in deciding what angles were best, what kind of shots I should get etc. At the end of the day, great value for money, great shots (at least that's how I felt)! You can tell me better by having a look at my headshots. :)
I went with.nicholas dawkes hes a massive help he really knows what to work towards as in your casting bracket and really helps portray what will see you in ypur head shots. He is within your price but depending on which package you choose. But word of warning i have in the past paid £70 for my first headshots and they were awful so sometimes you have to pay out to get quality because you get what you pay for
I have recently had mine done by Rachel see her website above - was really relaxed, I took a look sheet of styles I wanted and we did exactly that. I get the images very soon so keep an eye out for a changed image :) best of luck
I recommend Alishia Love, very affordable and a nice relaxed photo session leads to great pictures. She is quite intuitive so if you are taking a while to relax she will make a cup of tea, have a chat to help you chill and then get on with the session. She also is happy for you to change outfits multiple times. You get six head shots and it is £100. Bonza!
