Personalised recording from your studio Versus Mandy recording function

HI Everyone, I am loving the ease of the new straight to screen audition function on Mandy. I can plug my mic straight to the lap top and record. However I am concerned what is delivered to the client might not come over as good as if I record in my own editing software, tidy up, normalise etc etc and then up load and attach.
I wonder sometimes if recording straight into the mandy screen makes me look less well set up and sound less professional. I have no idea of knowing what my audtion sounds like at the clients end when they pick it up, (not sure what speakers/system they listen back to. But I dont want to find out that I am not picked due to the quality of the recording, just becuase its easier for me to use.
Anythoughts?
Steph

‘Application Status’...

Probably a daft question - but- when it shows ‘Viewed’ I’m presuming that’s referring to the client/s viewing the file, with the viewing number increasing every time the viewer views ....

Personally, after the issues the new system had with dodgy sample rates and file type conversion when it was launched, I wouldn't touch the Mandy recording feature with a barge pole I'm afraid, especially now that most clients are looking for people able to produce professional studio grade recordings from home.
And also, personally I don't think it really matters what quality of speakers or headphones the client is listening to our demos through, as long as they're listening to all the demos on the same devices then that should be fine. The trick is to make our demos sound as good as possible on our own professional grade monitors and headphones as then it really should sound good on pretty much any consumer grade grade as well. :)
