Picture attachment to Applications

Tom Molnar
Actor

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if you have similar issues with Applications?

Most jobs I apply are straight forward, however my head-shot photo/s doesn't match the character or look!
I know I could dress up, change my hair or use make up etc... to fit the brief unfortunately there's no option to attach a current picture. Would be great if not only videos could be allowed but photos too [it's much faster and cheaper than pay each time for head shot sessions]

If anyone else has the same problem, please drop a message to emails@mandy.com and hopefully we'll get a support from Mandy's.
After all, we all just want more exposure and assure casting directors that we could fit the bill.

Thx

Editorial Comment Hi Tom,

Thanks for your feedback. Currently we only allow file attachments to applications, such as mp4 or PDF files, however the tech team is currently working on implementing image attachments to applications. While I cannot give an exact time frame for when this feature will be live on the site, we are currently working on implementing this feature.

Best wishes,
The Mandy Admin Team

I create a PDF using a picture when castings specifically ask for a recent pic, or one without makeup etc.

What a brilliant idea, Rebecca! I never thought of that. I shall bear it in mind for the future.
Thank you.
All the best.

You're welcome. :-)

It doesn't help with the limitation on attaching files when applying for a job though, where only one thing can be submitted. If a casting asks for a self tape AND, say, a recent photo without makeup, then the only option is to make the PDF public and direct the casting person to it. Which I'm not mad keen on doing so, as part of this implementation, perhaps Mandy could make it possible for more than one item to be attached to applications?
