Equity Elections
From tomorrow ballot papers will be dropping on equity members doorstep to vote for members for the next two year term on council.
2 years ago only 12% of equity members voted. Did you? If you didn't I would like to know what stopped you or put you off. Did you not know who to vote for, the ballot is confusing, forgot, not important.

Thank you for your post, I read it with interest. I have been a member of Equity for years and have never yet voted. I had never had to use Equity and I suppose I wasn't really paying attention to what was going on. What they did or what my vote would be going towards.
I have learnt a lot more about Equity over the last couple of years and I am planning on voting this time. And have recently been looking into which meetings I can attend.
I hope that helps you recognise reasons why people may or may not be voting.
