I am not a designer, I have never been a designer and I have no wish to be a designer. I'm an actor and that is what I am listed as on the acting section of this 'professional' casting site. Why then, has a job for a designer popped up in my jobs feed?
What new features are they going to add I wonder. Competence would be a start.

I love the absolute refusal by Backstage to engage, in any positive way, in public. Or acknowledge the overwhelmingly negative response to EVERYTHING they have done since taking over. It's the same on Social Media "Please email us so we can look interested, and like we care, by asking you to do that. Then we'll fob you off in private"
I also feel paying a subscription to be sold FOH staff as "guest experience hosts" is insulting too. That's not an acting job, and also can find those jobs without paying a fee to see them advertised. Also... teaching jobs, again, don't think we should be paying a subscription for those either.
I've also just seen that the "application status" and the "profile views" are being removed, so then we will have no idea if our applications are being viewed or if our profile is ever viewed. I don't know how others feel, but for me these two features were key to keeping me on this site, I think I'm just going to stick to Spotlight now, the jobs are so much better than here and properly paid as well.
I've just emailed them as requested. The listing for director has mysteriously disappeared from my job listings. Here's what I wrote and no doubt I will be asked to leave:
Hi, You asked me in the forum to send the link to the job that appeared on my job feed which was for a director. It is no longer there so it has obviously been removed. This has happened before. When I mentioned something was wrongly listed, the listing disappeared.
I'm really annoyed also, that you are taking away the ability to see who has looked at one's profile and to see if there's anyone interested in one's application and even if one is under consideration. This done too, without a by your leave or anything. It would be a nice thing if you could list what 'new and exciting' things are replacing these facilities. It would also be nice if your paying clientele were consulted and treated with the respect due to them.
There are very many actors on the site who are totally disillusioned by how, what was a fairly good site, CCP, has changed and deteriorated over the years. This new manifestation is beyond awful. I do think you will be experiencing a very large exodus.
Agree with every word, Toni. My Annual Subscription will not be renewed in November. I'm still furious that I switched to Annual from Monthly when I did, otherwise I would have stopped paying them for this nonsense months ago.
Of the listings today and end of yesterday, about 80% of them are for Elves, Santas, Interactive Dinosaur something, Workshop Leaders, Teachers and one Design Assistant. None of these are legitimate acting work and worthy of any kind of subscription fee. Absolute rip off.

I agree, this is not even enough for someone who is starting in the industry let alone more experienced actors.
I hope the quality of listed jobs will improve...
I was also getting jobs for design assistant and runner in my feed, even though I am an actor. Not to mention the jobs which are under any minimum wage.
