Only in London?
Hey, so I have only been on Film and TV Pro for a short time, but I have already noticed how almost all job adverts are located in London. I know that's where the industry is, but does that mean there are no jobs anywhere else in UK(especially in Scotland)? Or do other cities advertise their jobs somewhere else?
I must admit moving to London is still a bit intimidating, but it does seem like a self fulfilling prophesy: "All the film jobs are in London, so more filmmakers move to London, thus more film projects begin and more vacancies appear."
Is the film and TV industry so dead in other cities and areas in the UK, or are they too closed off for new filmmakers? Would love to hear from film crew outside of London about their job hunting experience.
