Monologue hunt
Hello everyone, I’m looking for a little help. I’m currently trying to get some footage together as sadly my showreel plans have been put on hold, however I still want to contact agents/ CDs etc. Does anyone have any advice on where best to get good monologues? Or have any they can suggest I look at? I’m aiming for the playing age 16-25, so relatively broad when it comes to content but just want to get my teeth in to some.

Hi Charlotte! The Good Audition Guides have a really good series of monologue books, such as Contemporary Monologues for Women. I also occasionally use Backstage and just try to watch as many plays and films as possible and note down when there's a monologue that I think might work for me. Best of luck, Phoebe
