Uploading a video from the internet

Sorry if this has been covered before. An advert I did has just been uploaded onto youtube and I want to attach it to my profile. How do I go about doing this?

Cheers

Editorial Comment If you have the file on your computer you can upload it directly by selecting 'my profile' -> 'files'.

If the file is on another website you'd need to first download it to your computer and then upload to CCP.

There is no way for the CCP system to pull video or files from other sites.

Thanks,

Chris

Type the YouTube address of your commercial into http://keepvid.com/ and it sucks it down onto your hard drive in a variety of formats for you to upload into CCP!

Simples!

Hi .
I uploaded a self tape for my son for a voice Over role . It all played fine before uploading , said it was ‘done’ But below it then said video is broken . I tried to Play it off the submission and it wouldn’t . Does anyone know if you can take it off and redo ? I tried to look to reapply for job so I could load it again but could only apply once , which is understandable
Many thanks in advance

Hi Forbes, there's no way that it allows me to do this when I go into the keepvid page. There's no option listed to put in the url of the Youtube ad.

Toni - these apps aren't really 'official' (and you're not - technically - supposed to rip YT videos...) so quite often they stop working for a while when YT change something. They're always trying to catch up of course - and I may have used KeepVid in the past myself. Now though I use '4k video downloader' (just Google those words). Works a treat.
