Hi all - I've procrastinated long enough and need to get a voicereel done. A mate of mine is going to do the technical side but I need advice on content, length etc. Any help much appreciated! X

Hi Stewart,

I would say two minutes is just right for a voice reel mix, three minutes is plenty verging on too much.

As for content I would suggest recording a few simple lines of you talking - not performing, or putting on a reading voice - just you speaking, something as basic as 'Hi, my name is Stewart, this morning I had x for breakfast, today I'm going to do X." Just for people to get an idea of your natural speaking voice. Then, send that round to as many friends and colleagues as you can and get feedback, and take it from there.
