Hey everyone! We're casting for our short film Foot, which is a family drama about class, masculinity, and shooting off your foot with a shotgun.  



This is part of our term 4 film project at the London Film School, meaning it'll be a 10 minute project, with a four day shoot on set in a studio, and a two day shoot at an exterior location. 



This film will be shot on the 35mm Super America camera which we believe will be a unique and incredible experience both for the crew and the cast. 



Here's a synopsis of the story: "In the early 60s, an unemployed husband and father fights with increasing feelings of shame and unworthiness as his family deals with rising economic hardship. As social and personal pressures rise, he makes the decision to shoot off his foot for insurance money, at the cost of both his health and personal relationships." 



This story is based on true events that occurred in the late 1950s and early 1960s in Vernon “Nub City”, Florida.
