Joining our team at a pivotal time in our development as we embark on our new Strategic Plan ‘Creating Together 2021-2025’, the Head of Development will be a senior member of our team, working with and supported by an expert external fundraising consultant (and later by the Co-Executive Director currently on maternity leave) and a team of two committed and talented fundraising colleagues. The successful candidate will help shape and deliver a fundraising strategy, reaching a wide range of public funders, trusts and foundations, corporates and individual donors.We are an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation (2018-23). The majority of our income is fundraised from philanthropic sources or earned from businesses and we receive modest income from performance fees and box office.The development team manages the NPO grant, fundraising and business development. Our development strategy is to maintain a significant level of support from public funders and trusts and foundations with a priority of significantly increasing the amounts we raise from individuals and corporates to support the charity’s sustainability long-term. The development team includes: Head of Development, Development Manager and Development Assistant.We are looking for a confident fundraising professional with substantial experience in institutional giving and excellent communication skills, who is ready for the next step in their career.
