Possibility of 18 month extension after this date, funding dependant.JU:MP, the Bradford Local Delivery Pilot (LDP) is one of 12, nationwide Local Delivery Pilots (LDP) funded by Sport England. The Bradford LDP is led by the Born in Bradford research project as part of Active Bradford. The LDPs aim to test and learn more about what helps children and families to be active. JU:MP aims to improve the health and wellbeing of children aged 5 – 14 and their families, through physical activity in disadvantaged and ethnically diverse areas of Bradford. Currently, a whole systems approach is being used to increase children’s physical activity by working with families, communities, schools and organisations and by making improvements to the environment. This approach aims to energise, inspire and support children and families to enjoy being active and make it easier for them to achieve this goal.We are looking to recruit a JU:MP Community Dance Activator. Ideally this person will be located in the Bradford area and have existing networks of contacts to draw upon and have good inroads to working in diverse communities.Initially, the role will be an 18 month contract for 22 ½ hours a week. The role could be extended for a further 18 months dependent on securing future funding.Interviews will be in two parts:Practical interviews will take place on Saturday 9th January 2021. Interviews will takeplace on the 12th January 2021.
