"Various larger-than-life characters tell their inspirational stories in a series of interviews"My name is Alex Joseph. I am the writer and director of the feature film Wrecking Ball (available now on Amazon Prime and several other on-demand apps), and the in-production feature Faded Roses.What I'd like to do besides the above would be to shoot a series of into-camera interviews with a host of fictional characters telling their stories to the audience. For example, one character would be someone who is terminally ill, another character could be a freelance musician, a nurse on the frontlines of the Covid pandemic etc. All with the twist of the same actress playing every single different part. This would be a highly experimental approach, with the intent of showing the audience how powerful, natural and escapist storytelling can be.The finished product will go to film festivals upon final cut being finished. Spring won't just be our much-promised return to normal, but will also be a big time for this particular production!This project is listed as a short film, but honestly, it could end up pushing feature length. One day of production would be spent rehearsing the characters, the second would be spent shooting all the interviews.So, my question to you is how comfortable would you be giving several different, albeit equally three-dimensional and honest performances?
