I am a film director and am looking for a film editor to collaborate with me on a pilot episode for a potential web series that I shot in December 2020. I do not have a big budget but can offer a total project fee for editing the pilot episode. The total data is just less than 1TB as we shot on an old red camera. The pilot episode and the potential web series is about mental health and isolation but with a dark comedic tone. The pilot episode has been shot with fisheye lenses and has stylised costumes and sets. The team is a close knit group of industry professionals diversifying their talents into homegrown productions. We are keen to establish long term relationships with other professionals that bring their talent and skill-set to the table. Our aim is for you to become a part of the creative process in storytelling rather than it simply being a paid job to piece together footage. We are happy to receive applications from all experience levels. If you are interested, please apply with a CV and cover letter with the following:- years of experience in editing- software that you work with- the area that you are based / your editing studio is based- how you can relate to the subject matter (mental health/isolation)- if you have edited comedy content- if you have edited web series content- 2 x links to works you have edited- 1 x link to any other works you have created (produced/directed/shot etc)- any other information about yourselfThank you!
