I am looking for a child/teen actress ages 8-14 to record a voice-over for an animation short film which will premiere at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Detroit, Michigan, and will later travel globally. The film opens with a voiceover monologue by a prophet or-like figure taking place on an expedition ship. I am looking for a child or a young teen to play it (you can think of yourself as a queen while acting). This monologue is based on a real character named Richard brothers who lived in London in the 18th century and called for the departure of the Jews to Jerusalem. The film asks questions about nationalism and religion and will take the form of a fantasy/science fiction film combining documentary elements. Though the topic is serious and complex, I am looking for an actress who would enjoy playing this larger-than-life figure! I have attached the reference audio and the text itself. The audio is a guideline for the rhythm and the tone of the monologue.
