Harnessing the rigour of science and the creativity of design, we work relentlessly to put ideas to the test.About this exciting opportunityPowerful and engaging content is critical to achieving Nesta’s strategy, whether that be lobbying for change, sharing and spreading best practice, or raising our brand profile and building Nesta’s position as a world leader in driving innovation for social good. Reporting to the Content Manager, this hands-on role will see you proposing, pitching and creating innovative communication assets, including videos, podcasts, social media assets, graphics, and photography. You will also:Write and edit a wide range of content, and work with staff to support them to produce high quality written content in line with Nesta’s tone of voice and editorial house styleCommission content from freelancers and third party creative agencies, including project management, brief writing, and reviewing creative workBe responsible for the in-house creation of a range of high quality, high impact digital assets (e.g. audio and video clips, and infographics).Act as a source of expertise on in-house content creation, empowering and supporting the wider communications team to create great content themselves.What we are looking forYou will have a proven record of commissioning and creating powerful, creative and emotionally compelling content for a range of different audiences and extensive experience of managing the entire production process from planning and producing content to the full post-production process.
