Casting 3 actors for a recorded readthrough in May!



Looking for underrepresented actors - MUST be based in or near Sheffield. Esp working class &/or disabled!



What are We Watching is an hour long comedy play about a group of working class friends having a film night in at Christmas. (Must be okay with dirty jokes & strong language!)





- 4 rehearsals (1 hr sessions flexible to actors schedules)

- 2hr for recorded readthrough session.

(6 hrs total, may be longer with agreement).



This is our 2nd project & is self funded.

We are hoping to get the play on stage this year & apply for funding based on the recording (that is also why we are casting locally but we also want to meet local talent!).



We will interview shortlisted actors over zoom and either do a reading as audition or self tape, whatever you are comfortable with. Joleen and Peter will co-direct the play.
